FRENCH CERTIFIED SAILING & KITESURFING SCHOOL CLUB NAUTIQUE PORTINAGALAIS

The CNP school and its experienced team have been welcoming you since 1966. Located in a remarkable setting, on the northern end of the Ré island, this Nautical Club offers high quality SAILING & KITESURFING classes in appropriate spots for all levels.

The new building (including showers, classrooms etc) as well as our stock of equipment (about 80 vessels) are also available to organize meetings/workshops or excursions for more than 30 people at a time.

The qualified instructors (French Federation for Sailing and Kitesurfing ) teach in various locations:

• The « bathtub » (previously a salt-water marsh)
  This spot offers a high degree of security thanks to its features and enclosed « swimmingpool -like » basin, the ideal place for our youngest optimist-sailers, from 5 to 8 years old.
• Beach « Plage du Gros Jonc »
  Sailing School for all ages (from 8 to 88) Departure-point for all kitesurfing lessons (upward from 40 Kilos)
  Youri (BE=State Sailing Diploma ) is responsable for the Sailing-section and its various types of craft: Dingy, Catamaran, Windsurf etc Beach
• « Plage de La Loge »
  Private Sailing-lessons and Boat-renting in July and August Beach
• « Banc du Bûcheron »
  Kitesurfing-classes always depend on the student's level as well as on fluctuating tides. Thanks to his new motorboat, Rémi (BPJEPS= State Kitesurf Diploma) takes his students out to an offshore island to teach them (only accessible during low tide) or on the « Banc du Bûcheron ».
