Set back from the hustle and bustle of the port of Saint-Martin, the Bar de La Baronnie Hotel & Spa**** offers a refined alternative in the calm of the 18th century mansion of which it is the heart. And what doesn't spoil anything, to those who walk through the door, it has some nice surprises in store for you.

Access is via a magnificent interior courtyard whose cobblestones alone evoke the preserved authenticity of a listed residence. Surrounded by orange trees with a bewitching perfume, the door opens onto red leather armchairs and blond wooden furniture, the accomplices of a decor that assumes its elegance without ostentation. On the right, a vast lounge and its soft sofas cultivate the family spirit.

But it is in the background, behind another door, that the real surprise is revealed: populated by hundred-year-old trees and voluptuous flower beds, a tempting garden is offered to the eyes, like a detached piece of lost paradise.

Inside or outside, on deckchairs in the sun or sitting in the cool shade of the facade, calm and pleasure are the order of the day, with an à la carte selection to suit all tastes.

In addition to hot and cold drinks, teas, herbal teas, syrups and sodas but also traditional aperitifs, champagnes, great alcoholic drinks and after-dinner digestives, cocktail lovers will find the great classics but also original creations prepared by a talented barman. From Bordeaux to Provence, from Burgundy to the Loire, the wines are of course present, fresh from the nearby 13th century vaulted cellar. Not to be missed, the flavours of our region and the Ile de Ré: cognac, pineau but also pastis and Ré la Blanche beer.

The Bar is open every day from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm. It is also open to people outside the hotel.
