In March, children take centre stage on the Ile de Ré

Every year in March, the “P’tits se réveillent” Festival offers a wide range of activities for the very young: shows, visual theatre, film concerts, creative workshops… and much more! Accessible from the age of one, the programme of this festival for young audiences promises moments of emotion and discovery around art and awakening children. Over the course of a week, come and meet the guest artists, and share some great moments with the whole family, at La Maline or in the various towns and villages in the region. All workshops are free of charge, but shows and cinema screenings cost €2.

High points to punctuate the festival

For its 14th edition in 2025, the festival was based around four shows and as many artistic practices.

  • “Karl”, a work with an original aesthetic
  • “Ôlô, un regard sur l’enfance”, visual theatre
  • “Soleil planète”, a concert by the electro-pop duo Mosaï et Vincent
  • “Doggo”, a film-concert by British artist Ellie James
