It's still Drawing!
Since graduating as a Sculptor and Ornamentalist from the Lycée des Métiers d'Art in Revel and the Ecole Boulle in Paris, I've been sculpting, painting, and tattooing in Loix on the Île de Ré.
It's always drawing!
With other types of pencils; gouges, pyrography, brushes, dermographs...
I express natural elements that reveal themselves; lines that metamorphose into secret trees that reveal their purpose, sometimes mingling with a childhood memory.
My drawings express themselves in an intimate language of intricate traces, revealing root tissues and heads formed by dense, branching interlacing.
In nature, trees cling to the layers of the soil to avoid being uprooted. Plants survive in harsh places, while others organize their positions underground.
I like to highlight what we don't see and reveal the veins of time. The texture of a buried memory draws our gaze into hidden, rooted areas within, into the secrecy of our mental forest.
