The origins of jams date back to 1794, when Claude Heraudeau began producing strawberries. He quickly became the specialist on the Ile de Ré for the quality of his product, supplying the region's gourmet tables.
In 1983, Françoise Heraudeau began making strawberry jam. Thanks to the reputation of the products and the quality of Françoise's jams, success was immediate! The Heraudeau family story begins...
25 years later, no fewer than 60 products, including jams and fruit jellies, are made by master jam-maker Bertrand, who was voted best jam-maker in France in 2018.
Today, the company produces only these aromatic plants for jams and jellies, but rigorously selects these fruits and vegetables according to their provenance (France). The sugar content is measured to ensure that the fruit is picked when ripe.
