Au pied du phare des Baleines, 17590 Saint-Clément-des-Baleines
Explore a "miniature jungle" at the foot of the Whale Lighthouse!
Crabs, shrimps, sea urchins, starfish, small fish & co
For the whole family!

At low tide, many animals remain "prisoners" in the puddles and under the rocks of the foreshore. They live there while waiting for the sea to rise again.

Wearing boots (not provided), we will explore this little-known world and discover unexpected animals: crabs, shrimps, small fish, sea snails, sea anemones, sea urchins, starfish...

What is the difference between the "rabid" crab and the "iron arm" crab?
Did you know that the arms of the starfish grow back when they are torn off?
Why does the hermit crab hide in the shell of a periwinkle?
Why is the sea anemone covered in "mini harpoons"?

All these questions ... and many more will be answered during this "Low Tide Safari" discovery trip!

Important! The "Low Tide Safaris" are outings to discover and raise awareness of the marine environment. They are not introductory sessions to fishing on foot.
