DESCRIPTION
An unusual walk through the heart of the marshes, with views of the salt pans, salt workers at work and marsh birds. This guided walk also allows you to discover the other facets of the Retais heritage that make it so unique: vineyards, nature, history, the habitat of the salt-marsh farmers, as you pass through the villages, not forgetting the anecdotes, the little secrets of all kinds and the chance to meet the locals (salt-marsh farmers, oyster farmers, etc. for a tasting session).
From one village to the next: Saint-Martin-de-Ré, La Couarde-sur-Mer, Loix, Ars-en-Ré, Les Portes-en-Ré, Saint-Clément-des-Baleines.
All routes are possible.
