On the Île de Ré, in Saint-Martin, I invite you to my home for a unique experience. In this calm and peaceful setting, perfect for enjoying a tasting, you will be introduced to a new way of discovering champagne with an original multisensory approach. Whether you are a novice, an amateur or a connoisseur, I welcome you to share a special moment. To better meet your expectations, I invite you to choose the theme of your workshop:
1) The influence of the glass on champagne tasting:
This workshop is divided into two parts:
First, you will taste the same champagne in five glasses that are very different in shape and material (mouth-blown glass and crystal). You will then experience how much the glass influences the perception of the tasting.
At the end of this experience, you will choose the glass that evoked the most emotions for you.
During the second part, you will taste four cuvées from different regions of Champagne in the glass you have chosen. You will then discover the great diversity of Champagne.
This tasting is accompanied by fine foods chosen according to your tastes.
Price: €600 for 1 to 3 people + €100 per additional person
Duration: 3 hours
2) Champagne and cheese pairings:
This workshop will reveal how wonderfully champagne pairs with cheese. You will enjoy pairings that are as surprising as they are perfect.
You will taste four champagnes served with eight cheeses. The selected vintages come from different regions of Champagne, offering a beautiful illustration of the diversity and richness of Champagne.
The cheeses, some classic, others more original, are chosen to complement the personality of the champagnes being tasted.
To fully appreciate this tasting, you will choose your favourite from among five glasses.
Price: €700 for 1 to 3 people + €150 per additional person
Duration: 2½ to 3 hours
3) The concept of ‘long time’ in champagne and in the cuvées tasted:
Long time is an inherent dimension of champagne, from the vine to its production. To illustrate this theme, 4 champagnes, all bearing the ‘long time’ label, will be tasted in the glass of your choice.
You will be able to appreciate the importance of time by tasting a vintage champagne, another from old vines or even ancient grape varieties.
Fine foods, chosen according to your tastes, will be offered to accompany this tasting.
Price: €950 for 1 to 3 people + €200 per additional person
Duration: 3 hours
4) Rare champagnes:
Five champagnes, produced in very limited quantities, will be tasted during this exceptional workshop.
You will first choose the glass that suits you best, then travel through the different regions of Champagne to taste five great Champagne wines, including a cuvée from a clos and a cuvée from ungrafted vines. Other wonderful surprises await you during this workshop.
You will enjoy these wines as much as their stories, each of which is highly original.
Fine foods chosen according to your tastes will be offered to accompany these champagnes.
Price: €1,550 for 1 to 4 people + €300 per additional person
Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes
In order to offer you a more personalised experience, a maximum of 2 to 12 people participate in these workshops.
A few words about myself:
Born in Reims, I began my career at L'Oréal. At the age of 28, I seized the opportunity to take over the family estate, Champagne AR Lenoble. As a young woman with no experience in viticulture or oenology, I trained myself entirely through trial and error. My lack of book knowledge ultimately proved to be a tremendous asset, allowing me to explore all avenues in a very avant-garde approach. This is how I developed my own tasting method based on a multisensory approach. I was one of the first to develop a single vineyard cuvée and offer non-dosage champagnes. Finally, I made a strong mark by generalising the ageing of reserve wines in magnums, which earned me the recognition of my peers and the press.
With no possibility of passing on the estate within my family, I sold it in 2023 to another family who continue to uphold the values of quality and authenticity that inspire me.
Now, I am keen to share my tasting method and experience with anyone who is curious to discover champagne in a different way.
