A unique classical guitar concert in Ars-en-Ré!
On Tuesday 12 August, a special classical guitar concert by Arnaud DUMOND will be held at the church in Ars-en-Ré at 9pm.
Arnaud DUMOND has performed and taught in more than 70 countries. He has won 10 international awards as a performer and composer (Paris-Radio-France, Gaudeamus, Tokyo, New York, Jeunesses Musicales Internationales, etc.). He lives and teaches in Paris.
He has recorded around twenty albums and composed around a hundred pieces for solo guitar, duets and quartets, as well as chamber music and works for choir and orchestra: Messe in terra pax, concertos, string quintets, etc., and a requiem (for soprano and alto, 2 choirs and 100 musicians) performed in several cathedrals in France and at La Madeleine in Paris, with Marie-Christine Barrault, Michael Lonsdale and Robert Hossein as narrators...
