One of the 17 towns in Charente-Maritime to have been awarded the ‘80th anniversary of the Liberation’ label, La Flotte is preparing to mark the occasion with a major ceremony on 8 May 2025!

The harbour, boats and Cours Félix Faure will be decked out in flags, and small flags will be handed out to participants. A drawing competition, organised by primary school pupils in La Flotte, will lead to a prize-giving ceremony and an exhibition at the Galerie Sénac de Meilhan.
