Day of commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Ars-en-Ré

Programme:
At 11am, local children will parade in period costume from the church square and Ars Spectacle will re-enact the scene of the Liberation of Ars from the Gardien du clocher. At 11.30am, there will be a ceremony with songs, speeches and an aperitif hosted by the town hall. For lunch, there will be a picnic where everyone can bring a meal and enjoy readings and dramatisations. The day will end with a popular dance from 3 to 5 pm.
