Removal of strawberry plants: participatory project organised by Collectif Fermes Urbaines and CDC, as part of the La Rochelle-Aunis-Ré Local Food Project, funded by the European Union and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region.
The aim of the ‘Ramène ta fraise’ projects is to help people discover local produce and give producers a helping hand. This participatory project programme has never been so aptly named!
Meet at a strawberry farm. You will prepare the ground for new strawberry plants that will delight us next spring, and discover how strawberries are grown on the Île de Ré.
On the programme:
Welcome with a nice cup of tea or coffee, presentation of the farm, then participatory work, tour of the farm. Finally, there will be a convivial moment to continue the discussions over a shared aperitif. Children are welcome.
Pulling up strawberry plants (quite physical work!)
Cleaning the beds (removing staples and mats)
Free
Registration required
The location will be sent to you by email after you register.
Open to all, children over 12 (accompanied)
More info: [email protected], or 07 84 58 86 56
