The APSL will welcome Mr. Denis Minot, Director of Eau 17, for a conference-debate entitled “Water of the Future,” dedicated to the medium-term (2035) and long-term (2050) challenges of supplying the Île de Ré with drinking water.
These resources are under pressure on the island, but also in the department, due to the consequences of climate change and tourist pressure.
After reviewing the current situation and threats, Mr. Minot will present the strategies currently being considered with elected officials to meet our future needs, both quantitatively and qualitatively, before answering questions from the public.
This conference is open to all and free of charge, but as the room capacity is limited, reservations are required ([email protected]) or on the APSL website (www.loix-apsl.fr under the “Contact Us” tab).
