In line with ongoing efforts to protect local biodiversity, the town hall of Saint-Martin-de-Ré and the League for the Protection of Birds are organizing a public conference on the flora and fauna of the municipality.
This meeting will be held on Thursday, 30 October 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Ernest Cognacq Museum in Saint-Martin-de-Ré.
The aim of this conference is to share the results of the recent inventory carried out in the area, to raise awareness of the richness of the local natural heritage, and to encourage residents to get involved at their own level.
During this conference, LPO specialists will present the species recorded in the municipality. They will also explain how everyone can take action by creating an LPO refuge at home, with practical advice and testimonials from individuals who have already taken the plunge. There will also be a discussion session to gather participants' expectations and ideas for further local action.
This event is free and open to all, but as places are limited, registration is required.
To book, please call 05 46 09 21 22.
