Discover the rich heritage of Sainte-Marie through a 10 km guided tour.
This tour, punctuated by six must-see stops, immerses you in the history and traditions of the town. From the emblematic site of the Virgin Mary to the old La Noue school, a reminder of the school life of yesteryear, each stop tells a story of local history. The Anse à Jumeau pass, a real breath of fresh air, will then lead you to some gems: the lime kiln and the fish locks, ingenious examples of the exploitation of natural resources.
The tour continues with a stop at the miller's house, where you can learn about the daily life of an ancestral trade, before stopping at the still, a symbol of artisanal know-how still alive today, without forgetting the unmissable Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church, a former landmark in its time.
