Marc MINKOWSKI and the MUSICIENS DU LOUVRE present an exceptional concert entitled “Rococo & Empire”...
This fall, the Louvre Museum in Paris is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the death of JACQUES-LOUIS DAVID with an exhibition opening in mid-October.
Marc Minkowski and his orchestra will accompany this immersion into the work of a committed painter, between Revolution, Empire, and artistic modernity, with a rich and dense musical program that will be presented for two evenings only: a preview will be held at the Church of LOIX on Wednesday, October 29, as part of the RE MAJEURE festival, and the following day, Thursday, October 30, in PARIS, at the Louvre Museum.
