Two artists from Poitevin will be exhibiting in the Salle du Havre in Ars en Ré, one a sculptor, François GARNIER, the other a painter, Corinne SABOUREUX.
François uses wood and bronze to create surreal sculptures with evocative shapes. The sobriety of the lines, the softness of the curves, the strength of the edges and a meticulous finish are the common thread running through his work.
Gentle curves are also found in Corinne's work, where the vehicles are often reminiscent of the body and femininity. A glamorous, vintage spirit, always in evidence in the harmony and interplay of colours.
A marriage of these two worlds, made up of a shared artistic sensibility. A union of pictorial and sculptural elegance. An invitation to discover these step-by-step stagings and meet these touching characters.
From 25 to 31 August from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm
