Full of vitality, in a synergy of practices to the rhythm of the breath and the elements
All year round on the island of Ré, with Joëlle Demillian
A Nordic experience in the remarkable environment of the beaches, paths and forests of the Ile de Ré.
After preparing the body, breath and mind, we will leave for a good hour of walking, punctuated by the breath, on different terrains that will allow us to approach the technical aspects of this sport walking.
The session will end with stretching and pranayama.
A breath of fresh air!
Nordic walking is a dynamic practice that provides above all pleasure and sensations! It is accessible to all.
Used as summer training by cross-country skiers, it developed in the 1990s in Finland with the creation of specific poles equipped with gauntlets. These poles provide support to the joints, and allow the whole body to act in propulsion, engaging 90% of the muscles.
Upper and lower body (shoulder and pelvic girdle) are engaged equally, promoting balance and coordination in a work of dissociation.
The benefits of this walk are therefore muscular, articular and cardiovascular (overall strengthening, tone).
The techniques and spirit of yoga will enrich it with a specific and global preparation, through conscious breathing, promoting relaxation in movement, psychological well-being and connection to the environment.
Please contact me to know the next dates and meeting places
A la carte sessions for small groups and individual lessons possible.
