KEZIAH JONES will be on the main stage at Jazz au Phare, opening for CELIA KAMENI.
After a ten-year break without a new album, Keziah Jones is back with a vengeance this year with a major manifesto album, mischievously entitled ‘Alive and Kicking’, recorded under live conditions at his home in Lagos, Nigeria, in the heart of Femi Kuti's studios. This new opus combines covers and new tracks with live versions of his greatest hits. The whole press (and television, from France 2 to Canal +) have been talking about it. A must-have!

OPENING ACT: CELIA KAMENI
A Frenchwoman of Cameroonian origin, Celia Kameni grew up in an eclectic musical universe combining classical music and jazz, as well as soul, African and Caribbean music. She has crossed paths and shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sandra Nkake, Bireli Lagrène, Liz Mc Comb, Cécile Mc Lorin Salvant, Angèle and Ben l'Oncle Soul. But it's her personal project that we like best. An innate talent!
