Storytelling and gourmet walks on the Ars-en-Ré marshes on Tuesday mornings
Tuesday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm - Easter, July/August/September and All Saints' Day holidays
Length: 3 hours - Price: €20
Teenagers/adults
Departure confirmed from 5 adults
Meet opposite the restaurant L'Arrondi, 13 quai de la Criée towards the port of Ars-en-Ré
Salt!
Salt of life!
Salt of the earth!
Salt of the sea!
I'd like to add my own little grain of salt to these many stories of salt!
Welcome to the land of white gold
Welcome to these salt-rich areas
teeming with plants, insects and birds...
and incredible stories!
Set off around the marshes, along the Fier d'Ars dike, for a 3-hour walk to discover the history of the Ile de Ré, some wonderful tales, the secrets of the local flora and some delicious surprises!
A poetic and tasty stroll... when time suspends its flight.
This walk has been running since September 2016, and will be revisited in 2024.
(Contact the Loix Ecomuseum for a visit to the work of the salt producers).
I train all year round in the botany and cooking of wild plants, so that I can enjoy them in complete safety. I've long had an artistic and intuitive relationship with plants.
I'm also very familiar with the world of bees (10 years of beekeeping experience).
I look forward to meeting you again to share my tales with you and Mother Nature!
