To mark the Halloween festivities, the commune of Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré is organizing a pumpkin weighing contest.
This squash was planted and harvested by children from the Bois-Plage-en-Ré leisure center in the local educational garden.
The aim?
Guess the weight of the specimen!
The winner will receive a basket filled with vegetables from the educational garden and local produce.
How to take part?
Two pumpkins will be set up:
- Town Hall reception area
- Ilot Mômes (reserved for ALSH children and their parents)
Participants will have the opportunity to weigh and estimate from October 31
