Come one, come all to the Quintette Vocal concert in Ars-en-Ré church on Sunday 24 August!
PRESENTATION
The Vocal Quintet hails from the AURA region (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). Created in 2016 under the direction of Françoise Thaize Tournier, it is made up of five soloists with a passion for polyphony and the multiple expressions of the voice.
What sets it apart is its fair and enthusiastic interpretation of the many styles it performs. It presents and shares with its listeners the works of composers from the 16th century to the present day, sacred and poetic polyphony, English and French madrigals, traditional songs and spirituals.
Since 2019, he has taken part in the International Choral Festival in Verona (Italy) and performed at St Mark's Basilica in Venice.
In 2021, he has been invited to perform at the opening concert of the VOCHORA International Festival in Tournon (Ardèche).
In 2022 and 2023, he will be touring Catalonia and the Pyrénées Orientales.
In August 2024, Le Quintette Vocal is selected to take part in the 72ᵉ Concours International de la Ville d'Arezzo (Italy).
