This walk will take you along the Fier d'Ars river, past oyster farms, and through the legendary Bois de Trousse Chemise forest.
The pine trees will shade your stroll before you return to Patache Beach, where you can see the Banc du Bûcheron at low tide. Take this walk at sunset and discover places to rest, dream and admire the landscape along the way.
- Guidebook with maps/step-by-stepLeave the La Patache car park and head towards Fier d’Ars, continuing for 110 metres.
Turn right onto the coastal path and continue for 800 metres. Turn right onto Rue du Champ Cloppé and continue straight ahead for 400 metres.
Turn right, still on Rue du Champ Cloppé, and continue onto Route de la Planté à Relet for 350 metres.
Cross the RD 101 with caution towards Route de Feu Fier.
Follow Route du Feu Fier for 600 metres to the Trousse Chemise beach car park.
Turn right onto a sandy path opposite the toilets (be careful, the first 10 metres are loose).
Follow the path under the pine trees for 300 metres.
Turn right and continue along the shaded path for 200 metres.
Turn right and follow the Barre de Veille cul-de-sac for
60 metres. Turn left onto the Barre de Veille cul-de-sac for 210 metres and continue to the junction with the Route de la Patache.
Continue along Route de la Patache for 250 metres towards Fier d'Ars.
Turn right to complete your route towards the car park and walk for 110 metres.
