This walk through the commune of La Flotte, listed as one of the ‘most beautiful villages in France’, will allow you to discover the must-see sights of this village with its prestigious past.

The route is suitable for people with reduced mobility, who can stop off along the way.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
1. From the reception office, turn left towards the coast and walk 50 metres to the seafront.
2. Turn left and walk along the seafront for 390 metres.
3. Turn left onto Cours Eugène Chauffour and walk 40 metres to the pedestrian crossing.
4. Cross over and take Rue de la Clavette for 150 m. At the fork, continue along the same street for 70 m.
5. Turn left onto Rue de l'Eglise to reach Sainte-Catherine Church 50 m away (open to visitors).
6. To exit, on Rue de l'Eglise, on the left, go around the small square for 20 metres.
7. Continue straight ahead for 150 metres on Rue de l'Eglise, then 180 metres on Rue du Marché and 260 metres on Rue Charles Biret. You will arrive at the port car park.
8. Turn right, then left, to go around the car park for 100 m to reach Rue du Calvaire. Shaded and accessible picnic area available.
9. Continue straight ahead on Rue du Calvaire for 250 m, cross and continue along Venelle de la Sauzaie for 60 m.
10. Turn left (end of Rue du Puits Lizet) and take the fork to the left for 50 m.
11. Turn left to reach the nearest pedestrian crossing 60 m away on Rue Jean Henry-Lainé and cross.
12. Turn right and walk 100 m along the pavement, alongside Route de Rivedoux.
13. Turn left onto Rue de l'Océan and follow it for 250 m.
14. Turn left onto Ruelle de la Mer and continue for 150 m towards the seafront.
15. Turn right onto Avenue de la Plage, go around the traffic island to rejoin the promenade along the sea 50 m to the left and follow it for 560 m.
16. At Square Mérindot, turn left onto the extension of Avenue de la Plage and continue for 150 m until you reach the port.
17. Turn left and go around the port via Quai de Sénac until you reach the reception office 200 m away.

This route can be extended to the Platin Museum. Distance: 50 m from the visitor centre and access to the exhibition on the ground floor (depending on opening times).
