With the LPO, experience the heart of Ré natural beauty.

At the gateway to the Lilleau des Niges nature reserve, the Maison du Fier invites you to discover the island of Ré through a mosaic of life and natural environments on a journey that will take you into the heart of the ocean in the company of gannets, intoxicate you with the scents of the dunes, immerse you in the pine and holm oak forest... Here's what awaits you and much more!

Young and old alike will have fun exploring the village, the marshes, the foreshore, the dunes and the forest to meet all the animals that live there. Hidden under a stone, suspended in mid-air or immersed in an aquarium, a whole world of animals and plants awaits your gaze.

And to complete this fun and informative tour, set off to discover the nature reserve by following the footpaths dotted with remarkable observation points and interpretation posts. Keep your eyes wide open and discover the animals and plants discovered in the museum in their natural environment.

Peak visitor numbers are generally recorded in the afternoon between 2pm and 4pm.
For greater peace and quiet and less waiting time, it is best to visit in the morning, ideally before 10.30am/11.00am.
