Furnished house with courtyard and garage for 4 people in a quiet residence in the heart of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, 5 minutes walk from the shops and the port.

In the center of the historic village of Saint-Martin and its maze of old and flowery streets, located 5 minutes walk from the port and the shops (15 minutes walk from the beach), our house is a peaceful and cozy place. It is a detached house in a wooded, quiet and secure residence, ideal for a couple with two children.

In order to best accommodate a family with a baby, we provide a booster seat + games + books, an umbrella bed + mattress pad, a toilet reducer, a child's bath and a changing mat. The renovation of the accommodation is recent (August 2017): contemporary furniture, equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, conventional and microwave ovens, induction hob, fridge, mini-freezer). Household linen is included in the rental price. The beds are ready when you arrive.

The whole accommodation is at your disposal. It includes a flowered courtyard where you can take your meals in the summer (with garden table, parasol, chairs and deckchairs), a ground floor (living room - television, DVD player, mini-chain, wifi and library -, dining room and fitted kitchen + WC) and a first floor (2 bedrooms, a bathroom and separate WC). Luggage unloading car park + closed private car park in the basement.

I personally welcome travelers. Not living on site, however, I can be reached at any time by phone during your stay. Depending on the time of arrival and the wishes of the travellers, we get to know each other by sharing drinks and cakes. I take the time to introduce you to the house and its amenities and to inform you about its environment. In addition, guides are at your disposal for your visits and your circuits by bike or on foot. You will also find documentation on Poitou-Charentes and books on the Ile de Ré, its history, its ornithological reserve, etc. On a book provided for this purpose, I invite you to express your feelings about your stay with me and to make suggestions.

Covid-19: Before each arrival, the house is cleaned and disinfected with particular care (bathroom, WC, kitchen, door handles, ramps, switches, chair backs, etc.) Household linen and sheets are, as always, washed at high temperature.
