Alongside the rooms inspired by the spirit of the Enlightenment, there are two that are unclassifiable. One is a freestanding pavilion in the heart of the garden, the other is nestled at the highest point of the hotel (La Tour des amis).
The Romanesque Tour des Amis :
Another place, another atmosphere, and to reach it, you have to find it. In the central, listed part of La Baronnie, at the end of a long corridor, you enter through a small door that you might think is deliberately hidden.
Behind it, surprise! We're greeted by a delightful bathroom flooded with light, while to the right, a staircase beckons us to climb even higher. But take heart, it's worth the diversions!
At the top of one of La Baronnie's two towers, this room, aptly named La Tour des Amis, is reminiscent of the fairytales of our childhood.
The immaculate bedspread is reminiscent of a bridal veil, the quilt is soft and the furniture has a patina of age. And from its three windows, you can enjoy a 360° view over the hotel gardens, before gliding over the rooftops to the church and the sea. An eternally romantic setting...
