The phenomenon from the other side of the Channel is taking off in France. "Love on rocks" is a simple and fun treasure hunt which consists, as its name suggests, of finding a carefully hidden painted stone.

On the island of Ré, this quest has found an echo in the Vélo club île de Ré, which is mobilised to encourage cycling, whether for leisure or business. From 14 July onwards, the association is inviting young and old alike to be extra vigilant on the island's cycle paths to find one of the pebbles painted by those responsible.

The photo of these pebbles and, above all, indications on how to find them can be found on the Facebook page "Vélo club île de ré". President Richard Bourget warns: "You have to be quick because the first person to find one of these pebbles can move it. The person who finds it is invited to take a photo of it and drop it off near a cycle track, further along the path. They will be able to enter new information on the Vélo club île de Ré page. "The hunt for pebbles will thus be able to continue throughout the summer on the island's cycle paths.
