In the heart of the village, a recent single-storey house, full of charm, with an enclosed garden and a lovely original south-facing terrace.
The house has 3 bedrooms, each with its own closet and the largest with its own shower room. Open-plan kitchen, living room, small sitting room, bathroom with walk-in shower. Paved courtyard for the car.
All windows face south.
Bed linen and towels are not provided. Linen can be rented from the web. We can advise you on this.
The cleaning fee covers only the cleaning of the house, although we will ask you to do your last washing-up and empty the garbage cans at the communal collection points.
Failure to do so will result in €50 being deducted from the deposit.
History of the house name: "Florestine", my great-grandmother, had a small garden in Ars-en-Ré. She grew her vegetables there, at a time when, of course, there were very few shops in Ars. Families had very little money, and everyone lived as much as possible from their own produce.
All that remains of those days is the old garden, now inaccessible because it is securely locked.
This garden became a garage in the 70s, and then this pretty house, built in 2009.
