Taste Ile de Ré oysters direct from the producers

Between land and sea, the oyster huts invite you to enjoy oysters and seafood directly from the water’s edge. The oyster-farmers welcome you to these typical spots for an authentic, friendly tasting experience full of local flavours.

Take a seat on the terrace overlooking the salt marshes or oyster beds, discover the expertise of the local producers and accompany your oysters with a glass of local white wine. Some huts also offer prawns, whelks or rillettes de la mer for a variety of delights.

It’s a gourmet experience not to be missed, and a taste of the maritime soul of the Ile de Ré.
